Dr. Liz received a Fellowship with The International Academy of Medical Acupuncture in August 2001. In the past 9 years she has administered needle Acupuncture for patients with many different ailments including, but not Limited to: Low back pain, neck pain, Migraines, Shoulder pain, Knee Pain, Fibromyalgia, Pain from Shingles, High Blood Pressure, Anxiety, Infertility, Circulatory problems, Insomnia, Sinus and Allergy problems, Arthritis and General Well Being.
Acupuncture (Traditional Chinese Medicine) has developed over several thousands of years. This alternative to Western Medicine treats the body as a whole - that is composed of several “Systems Of Function”. These Systems are named after specific organs though the systems and organs are not always directly associated. The ultimate goal with Acupuncture is to bring the body into total Harmony. With that accomplished many ailments including pain is relieved and Vital Energy is restored to the body.
Dr. Liz received her doctorate in Chiropractic in 1994 and has been Practicing in Fountain Hills ever since. She has been very involved in the Fountain Hills Chamber of Commerce and was named Business Person of the year in 2006. She is also the Past President and current member of the Kiwanis Club of Fountain Hills. She also works with United Blood Services on a volunteer basis and heads up five Blood Drives each year.
Dr. Liz has lived in Fountain Hills for 16 years with her husband, Paul. Her son Dr. Grant, daughter-in-law Tralonie and granddaughters Fallon and Jillian Smith are also residents of Fountain Hills.
