Nice question, but the answer is yes and no. Depending on the disease factor and its genetics and if you get the treatment done at its early stage. There is a full cure for the dry version and a partial cure for the wet version. Good luck Daveyo
Re: SurvivorsI was told mittens had it and she seemed like she would be gone in days and that was months ago, she is extremely skinny, but eats lots. Her back legs are not so good. I give her antibiotics and that seems to help a little, her eyesight came back. Probably too late for treatment?

Who told you mittens had it??? Did you go to a VET??? Did you get tests done to determine the problem from the VET, and if so what tests were done???? To answer your questions No nothing is ever too late if you can take care of its health. Diagnosis, diagnosis that is what it is all about. Must find out what is wrong. Daveyo
